2009 Fee Schedule:
Fees are generally billed at the end of each month at an hourly rate with hours divided into ten divisions of six (6) minutes, or any portion thereof.
Attorney fees for all matters other than appellate matters are billed at $150.00 per hour; appellate matters are billed at $200.00 per hour.
In some civil litigation cases, we may be able to offer a contingent fee based on the recovery you may be awarded. That contingent fee would be determined by when the recovery is achieved:
25% if the case settles before a jury is selected;
33% if the case settles after a jury is selected or the jury awards damages; and
40% if we must defend in appellate court a judgment awarded to you by a lower court.
Regardless of the attorney fees, you would be responsible for any costs and expenses we incur on your behalf. You may be required to pay a retainer to secure representation and to add to that retainer from time to time. Any retainers will be held in a Lawyer's Trust Account to pay out fees and expenses as they are incurred. In that event, you will receive a monthly statement describing any fees or expenses paid out of your retainer. Unused monies remaining from your retainer at the end of our representation will be returned to you.
Concierge services are available to clients of the firm at the rate of $25.00 per hour. Again, you are responsible for any expenses or costs incurred on your behalf.
